Commitment To Privacy

VIRTUAL THEATRE has firm commitment to privacy.

VIRTUAL THEATRE is thus committed to safeguarding your privacy online as a member, customer or the customer's agents, licensees, investors, project owners, inventors, clients, employees, associates etc. hereby collectively referred to as "customer". The following policy indicates how your personal information will be treated as you make full use of this web site.

This policy may change from time to time so please check back periodically. For additional information about VIRTUAL THEATRE, please review our Terms and Conditions. VIRTUAL THEATRE does not sell or rent your personal identification to third parties. VIRTUAL THEATRE does provide your personal identification to selected, affiliated companies to allow them to perform services for customers on our behalf.

Email:

It is the policy of VIRTUAL THEATRE to send customers only the types of email they elect to receive in addition to VIRTUAL THEATRE customary business communications (address confirmation, renewal notifications, new product offerings, etc.) Further, it is our policy to remove customers from any VIRTUAL THEATRE mailing list to which they have subscribed upon request (customers will continue to receive customary business communications from VIRTUAL THEATRE). Every opt-in email communication from VIRTUAL THEATRE will contain clear instructions for how the customer can remove themselves from that mailing list.

Membership Registration:

Demographic and profile data is also collected at our site. We use this data to tailor your experience at VIRTUAL THEATRE, showing content that we think you might be interested in, and displaying the content according to your preferences. We do this in two ways. First, we analyse customer information in aggregate - that is, we collect information about thousands of site visits and analyse it as a whole. This kind of study involves looking for trends among many visitors to VIRTUAL THEATRE, rather than analysing information about any individual customer. Examples include researching which parts of the site are accessed most frequently, or determining which products are most attractive to our users. Second, we may use information gathered during your visit to help customise our communications with you. VIRTUAL THEATRE may periodically conduct individual voluntary customer surveys. We encourage customer to participate in these surveys because they provide us with important information that helps us to improve the types of services we offer, and how we provide them to you. The responses we collect in online surveys are anonymous. In the end, we hope to tailor our communications with you to fit your needs - so that you receive more of what you want from us and less of what you don't want.

Updating Your Personal Information:

VIRTUAL THEATRE provides you with many ways in which you can alter your personal data (where available). To make these changes, please log into your membership area (when available) and follow the directions. Once you have made the desired changes, click the 'Submit New Contact Information' button to save your changes. Various branded version of the VIRTUAL THEATRE web site may not cater for this option.

The Security of Your Information:

We work diligently to protect the security of your personal information, including credit card information (where available), during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. If applicable your data is kept in a highly secure environment protected from access by unauthorised parties. Other than the administrator of this web site or other authorised VIRTUAL THEATRE personnel, you are the only person who has access to your personal information. Your user registration is password-protected to prevent unauthorised access. It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your password, PINs and to your computer by ensuring you logoff when finished visiting VIRTUAL THEATRE using a shared computer. This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place like a library or Internet cafe. We recommend that you do not divulge your password or PINs to anyone. VIRTUAL THEATRE will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, VIRTUAL THEATRE cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online services, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.

Cookies:

Where appropriate and as part of offering and providing customisable and personalised services, VIRTUAL THEATRE may use cookies to store and sometimes track information about you. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. Several features of this web site require that you accept cookies in order to work properly. We use cookies to improve the customer experience, like allowing the customer to login without typing the registered email address or registration number and password. We also use them to deliver information and fresh content specific to your interests. Cookies are widely used on most major web sites.

Browser Monitor:

VIRTUAL THEATRE may employ a browser monitor within web pages on our site in order to determine your browser status and the client-side metrics relating to page loading. We constantly seek ways to improve page load times for our customers and may ultimately use these metrics for such purposes. Any such browser monitor will only be active while the use is active on the VIRTUAL THEATRE site. For your protection, any such browser monitor will not require an executable (*.exe) application.

IP Address:

Like most Internet sites, we may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer this web site. Your IP address may also be used to gather broad demographic information. This information is distributed to current and potential advertisers, but only in aggregate form. It does not contain information that identifies individual customers.

Membership Removal:

Where applicable if you wish to have your registration removed from our directory for any reason, simply use our online registration removal process. If you have any problem removing your registration, please request assistance from our contact page.

Advertising and Third Party Links:

Some VIRTUAL THEATRE advertisers and affiliate partners may request information directly from users, or link to sites that do so. VIRTUAL THEATRE has no control over its advertisers' privacy policies, and encourages users to review such policies prior to submitting any personal information to them. VIRTUAL THEATRE contains non-advertising links to a variety of third party sites to enhance the customer experience. VIRTUAL THEATRE has no control of either the content or privacy policies of such sites, nor should such links be considered an endorsement of these sites except where otherwise noted.

Children:

VIRTUAL THEATRE is a general audience web site. Protecting the privacy of the young is especially important to VIRTUAL THEATRE. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our web site from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our web site is intended for use by those under 13. Children should always ask a parent for permission before sending personal information to anyone online. VIRTUAL THEATRE does not share personal information about users under the age of 13 with third parties and we do not sell or rent personal information about any of our users, regardless of age. In addition, VIRTUAL THEATRE will not send any direct email offers to users who indicate they are under the age of 13.

As a result of the new Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States, we are required to prohibit children under 13 who reside in the U.S. from posting ads or using any of the other features of our site that require them to submit information via forms. This is due to the onerous reporting and verification requirements that this new law places on web sites that allow children under 13 to submit information via forms. Since we do not have the large, dedicated staff that would be necessary to comply with these requirements, our only option in order to remain in compliance with the law is to prohibit all children under 13 who reside in the U.S. from posting any information via forms on our web site. Therefore, children under 13 who reside in the U.S. should not submit any information via forms on our web site, and if you submit such information, you warrant that you are either over the age of 13 or not located in the U.S. and thus not subject to COPPA.

Updates to our information practices:

From time to time, we make changes to our information practices or alter the functionality of our web site. We always update this statement accordingly, so we encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on privacy practices at VIRTUAL THEATRE.

Abuse of Terms of Service:

We may provide your personal information to the police or other investigating agencies to assist them in the investigation of any suspected violations of law. We also have the right to share your name and contact information with our attorneys in the event of serious violations of conduct.

Disclosure of Information:

As a general rule, VIRTUAL THEATRE will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described below. VIRTUAL THEATRE may disclose account information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating the Terms and Conditions of the VIRTUAL THEATRE products or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) the rights or property of VIRTUAL THEATRE, other users of the VIRTUAL THEATRE products, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. VIRTUAL THEATRE may disclose or access account information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it and for administrative and other purposes that we deem necessary to maintain, service, and improve our products and services.

Customer Choices:

If you choose not to register or provide personal information, you can still use most of the features of the VIRTUAL THEATRE site, but you will not be able to access areas or use features that require registration. You also have choices with respect to cookies. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies you will be unable to use those services of the VIRTUAL THEATRE programs that require registration in order to participate. VIRTUAL THEATRE does not sell or rent user information to anyone. We will notify you at the time of data collection or transfer if your data will be shared with a third party and you will always have the option of not permitting the transfer. If you do not wish to allow your data to be shared, you can choose not to use a particular service.

Online privacy:

Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online - for example in ads that you post or through email - that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and/or any account information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you're online.
